Premium Membership

It was a pleasant surprise to see the recent availability of Premium Membership for VLB residents. However I am holding out until I hear better reviews and news. It seems as of now only certain features work that were advertised. For example, voice chat works, and you receive the $2000 VLB as promised for joining. But the exclusive shopping page is currently down and there seems to be no houses available for rent or purchase. The main attraction to me was the ability to buy a house, a private spot for friends to hang out, vs having to find them on VLB. But you browse the home listings and there seems to be nothing available. In addition, there seems to be a few VLB people who own 3, 4 even 5 houses. I think there should be a restriction because that is definitely unfair to other residents. Voice chat is a cool idea, but there are chat programs already which offer that feature free of charge.

I still support VLB as one of the best chat worlds around in terms of look, feel and overall features, but I think the people who run the membership should make sure it is in working order before allowing sign ups.
